Local Handmade Planters

For all our plant lovers out there, we know how much your plant babies mean to you. And not only do they deserve good care, but why not treat them to a hand-crafted work of art to thrive in. We have rounded up a few local artisans in Florida firing up planters with style and care.

INVISIBLE TWIN STUDIO

is a ceramic studio located in College Park Florida featuring the original ceramic art of Kelly Evans. With the goal of creating “Happy Clay Wares for the Eclectic Home”, Kelly’s ceramic work combines elements of design with a touch of whimsy. Each piece is created using a combination of wheel throwing and hand building techniques with the artfully collected home in mind. Being a plant enthusiast herself, ceramic planters are a perfect fit for Invisible Twin Studio. Her unique planter designs are a popular item and the perfect way to creatively display your favorite plant baby!

BLUE URCHIN STUDIO

Camila Holanda is a small batch ceramic artist out of Melbourne, FL who fosters a unique relationship with her art medium. Camila’s passion for all things “earth” began as an avid gardener and Permaculture designer and has now developed into a full-time career in ceramics.

The artist grows her own food out of her backyard and finds ceramics to be the most suitable medium for celebrating her love of the earth. Her designs are influenced by raw stone textures, earthy colors, and organic patterns. Camila also teaches private ceramic workshops in her garden studio and hopes to inspire others to get their hands in the dirt in any way possible!

SEAGRASS POTTERY

We like to think of our pottery as art that is made to be used, held and enjoyed (who doesn't love art that is dishwasher safe?). Located just a few blocks from the Indian Harbour and Satellite Beach, each piece is inspired by the sea and our beautiful coastal surroundings. We love creating work that is used daily, whether it's the mug you reach for each morning to start your day or or it's a vessel to house your favorite plant or stems, we are grateful for your commitment to handmade.

In addition to offering a variety of handmade home essentials we also offer classes and workshops for those who want to work in clay. The story of our studio by the sea is a simple one, we wanted to create a community around clay. Young, old, experienced or novice, all are welcome. Together we hope our studio educates, inspires and enhances our community.
